When it comes to saw blade grinding machines, I believe many people are not familiar with them, especially the grinding steps of saw blade grinding machines. Understanding the grinding steps of saw blade grinding machines will make it more convenient to use. Below, I will share with you the grinding steps of saw blade grinding machines.
1. Device saw blade
Measure the outer diameter of the saw blade and select a centering washer for the center hole. Install the saw blade onto the saw blade seat and lock it with the rolling nut of the saw blade seat. Then loosen the locking screw of the saw blade seat and move the saw blade seat to align the outer diameter of the saw blade with the corresponding scale of the saw blade seat. Finally, tighten the screw. If the saw blade has broken teeth or new teeth are made, a grinding guide plate must be used. Generally speaking, using grinding guides is easier to grind, and grinding guides should be used as much as possible.
2. Adjustment of circular saw blade rotation tightness
If the rotation of the saw blade is not properly tightened, the forward displacement of the saw blade will not be accurate. Therefore, after the saw blade is installed, rotate the circular saw blade counterclockwise with your left hand to test its rotation tightness. If the tightness is improper, adjust the anti loosening nut with an open-end wrench to make the rotation tightness of the saw blade appropriate.
The principle of tightness is to eliminate the inertia of the saw blade rotation and the impact of the grinding wheel, and not to be too tight.
3. Blade thickness adjustment
To ensure that the grinding of the saw teeth is evenly distributed, the center of the grinding wheel and the center of the thickness of the saw blade should be in a straight line.
4. Cutting angle adjustment
Due to the significant variation in the material to be cut by the saw blade, the appropriate cutting angle should be selected based on the material being cut. Cut the angle and tighten the clamping seat screw.
5. Tooth profile transformation
There are generally two types of teeth commonly used, one is triangular teeth and the other is curved teeth. The tooth profile should be determined before grinding. When changing the tooth profile during machine operation, use an L-shaped wrench to change the tooth profile knob and select the tooth profile to be ground.

1. Tooth pitch and claw adjustment
Before starting the machine, pay attention to maintaining a distance of at least 10mm between the grinding wheel and the saw blade. Then, start the machine and adjust the distance between the grinding wheel and the saw blade. Before starting the machine, adjust the claw stroke adjustment rod and adjust the claw stroke to ensure that the landing point of the claw is in the appropriate position
2. Setting of tooth height difference
After starting the machine, if grinding the high and low teeth, adjust the high and low tooth difference adjustment rod. The indicator needle and scale will show that after starting the machine, if grinding the high and low teeth, adjust the high and low tooth difference adjustment rod, and the indicator needle and scale will show zero.
3. Grinding begins
After completing the above steps, you can use the grinding wheel feed screw to move the grinding wheel head towards the saw blade direction. When it is about to come into contact with the saw blade, adjust the teeth adjustment screw to align the original teeth of the saw blade with the grinding wheel (twist the adjustment screw clockwise to move the saw teeth forward, which will cause more tooth back grinding, and vice versa, which will cause more cutting angle grinding), and then move the grinding wheel head towards the saw blade. If the grinding wheel does not reach the bottom of the teeth when moving forward, but has already reached the back of the teeth when moving backward, it means it is not deep. On the contrary, it is too deep. At this time, use the tooth depth adjustment rod to adjust the tooth depth to the point where the grinding wheel can lightly touch the bottom and back of the teeth. During grinding, the shape of the grinding wheel may deform slightly. If necessary, use a grinding wheel to repair the grinding wheel. In principle, as long as the cutting angle is lightly ground, the back clearance angle will be ground more.
4. Chamfering and Grinding
1) Convert the tooth profile to a triangular tooth state
2) Zero the difference between high and low teeth
3) Adjust the push claw to a distance of pushing 2 multiple teeth at once
4) Adjust the machine head up and down according to the outer diameter of the grinding wheel
5) When aligning teeth, the grinding wheel should not touch the cutting angle of the front teeth, otherwise all previous efforts will be in vain
The above steps are the grinding steps of the saw blade grinding machine. Have you understood them all? Mastering these steps can lead to better operation and application.
